Impact Coit matched a season high by connecting on four threes, posting 12 points off the bench during Kansas' win Tuesday. The senior's productive night came after having previously posted 12 points total across the first eight conference games.

Impact After being held scoreless in the previous exhibition game against Arkansas, Coit got the start in this one and certainly made the most of it. Coit looked confident and was not shy about pulling the trigger from deep. The 5-11 guard was a late addition to the team after averaging 20.9 PPG at Northern Illinois. It's still a bit unclear on what Coit's role will be this season, but after Kansas had a lot of depth and shooting issues last season, he will certainly be an option that coach Bill Self has no problems going to if they need a scoring punch. The Jayhawks open the season on Monday against Howard.
