Impact Jones was the unlikely face among the Top 5 Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. The Legacy Motor Club veteran would claim his best finish of the season with a good performance in the YellaWood 500. Jones would start deep in the field and even get some damage from the big one. Fast Darlington Practice Jones was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the Cook Out Southern 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway Saturday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 166.461 mph.
