Impact Roberts connected on just 3-of-10 shots but made up for it by getting to the charity stripe 12 times and converting on 10 to provide 16 points during Houston's big road win. Roberts added seven boards, three assists, ticked the box score with a steal and a block and helped to hold star-forward JT Toppin to just 14 points on 18 shot attempts. It was the seventh time this season Roberts has topped the 15-point barrier and the senior forward is averaging a career-high 11.4 points per game. However, after shooting no worse than 59.6-percent from the floor over the previous three seasons, that production has shrunk to a career-low 51.8-percent this season, including the most recent stretch of games in which he's shot 30-percent or worse in three of the last four contests.

Milos Uzan - Sets new career-best scoring mark Uzan chipped in 22 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Monday's 69-61 victory over Texas Tech.
Impact Uzan set a new career high with 22 points while shooting 53.3-percent on 15 shots including connecting on 3-of-4 from downtown. The junior point guard also added a couple of boards, steals and helpers as the Cougars earned at least a share of the Big 12 regular season title with the big-time road win. The assist total was down in part because Uzan was relied upon for his scoring with Texas Tech putting the clamps on LJ Cryer. Uzan is averaging 11.1 points per game, though he was averaging 8.8 per contest prior to an 11-game run that has seen him average 14.6 points while shooting 51.3-percent from the floor and 52.3-percent from beyond the arc. He's also averaging 4.4 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals during that stretch as his production has taken a leap forward. He has become the main cog in the Cougar express and will look to help Houston reach its second Final Four in five years as we head into the upcoming NCAA tournament.

Despite the efficient scoring performance, it was a bit of an off night otherwise for the junior point guard, who recorded only one assist for just the second time this season while turning the ball over four times to match a season-worst effort. Uzan has been as steady as they come, having averaged 4.7 assists and less than one turnover per contest across 15 conference games prior to Saturday.
