FOX Sports and FOX Deportes Kick Start Historic 30th Season of Major League Soccer
MLS Regular Season Concludes on FOX and FOX Deportes with MLS Cup 2025
LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports today announces plans to open Major League Soccer’s historic 30th season this weekend as the league’s U.S. English and Spanish language linear television home for the regular season. The 34-match regular-season television schedule includes 18 games on FOX and 16 games on FS1, with every match airing in Spanish on FOX Deportes.
FOX Sports’ MLS regular-season coverage opens Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4:30 PM ET on FOX when Los Angeles Football Club hosts Minnesota United FC. In total, 23 teams will play across FOX and FS1, including six matches featuring the reigning MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy and two matches starring Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF. MLS’ newest franchise, San Diego FC, appears twice on the broadcast schedule.
Broadcaster match assignments on FOX and FS1 will be announced prior to matches over the course of the regular season. The regular season reaches a thrilling conclusion on FOX and FOX Deportes again this season with MLS Cup 2025.
FOX Deportes’ complete 34-match slate features the network’s distinguished cast of commentators and analysts, including veteran play-by-play announcers John Laguna, Rodolfo Landeros and Alejandro Luna, alongside former Mexican National team members Claudio Suarez, Mariano Trujillo, Martin “Pulpo” Zuñiga and Copa Libertadores champion Alvaro Izquierdo. Also, joining the coverage are reporters Giselle Zarur and Livette Ruvalcaba. MLS coverage also appears regularly on the network’s main studio shows throughout the season: EL ENTRETIEMPO, TOTAL SPORTS 360 and PUNTO FINAL.
