Impact Toppin failed to record his fifth-consecutive double-double, missing out by two rebounds, but still led the team with 22 points while shooting 56.3-percent on 16 shots from the field. The sophomore forward has been great this season for the Red Raiders and particularly over the last five games, topping 20 points in four of those five contests, averaging 26.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 blocked shots across 31.8 minutes during this recent dominant stretch.

Impact Toppin continued his offensive onslaught, scoring 32 points on 12-for-17 (70.6-percent) shooting while adding 12 boards, two assists, three blocks and a steal during Saturday's romp over Oklahoma State. This performance came on the heels of scoring 41 with 15 boards Wednesday. The sophomore forward topped 20 points for the ninth time and 10 rebounds for the 10th time this season including topping each mark for the third-consecutive game. Toppin had an injury scare when he injured his ankle during a win over Baylor but he ended up not missing any action and during the three games since has averaged 31.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest.

Impact Toppin dominated during Wednesday's double-OT thriller, connecting on 17-of-22 shots and hauling in 15 rebounds while pouring in a career-high 41 points. Seven of the sophomore forward's 15 boards came off the offensive glass and he also added three steals and a couple of blocks on the defensive end. It was the ninth double-double of the season for Toppin and the fourth time he's accumulated at least 15. Toppin's overall numbers have been impacted by a recent game in which he was ejected early and another that he left early due to a rolled ankle, but despite those two instances, the breakout star has averaged 15.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in conference play for the surprising 12th-ranked Red Raiders.

Impact Toppin left Tuesday's game early after rolling his ankle late in the first half. He did come back and start the second half on the floor but left early in the half and did not return. Prior to getting injured, Toppin was well on his way to his eighth double-double of the season, accumulating eight points and eight boards before his exit. There is currently no update as to if/when Toppin will miss any additional time.

Impact Both Toppin and head coach Grant McCasland were ejected just four minutes into this contest after Toppin appeared to kick an opposing player on a jump pass that resulted in a controversial flagrant 2 foul call. The rest of the Red Raiders were able to rally behind him, however, as each of the other four starters tallied 13 or more points in the road upset (it was Houston's first loss of Big 12 play). There's been no indication a suspension is forthcoming, so Toppin should at least be well-rested for Tuesday's home matchup against Baylor.

Impact Toppin played a season-high 38 minutes and posted his seventh double-double of the season, including his third since the start of Big 12 play. Following up on a down performance Sunday in which he played just 21 minutes due to foul trouble, Toppin was able to stay on the floor, needing just nine shots to accumulate 18 points while reaching 14 rebounds, a total he's matched or exceeded four times this season. After averaging a double-double during the non-conference slate, Toppin has seen a dip in production through nine conference games, though he's still averaging a solid 14.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest.
