Our expert March Madness parlay features a potential upset as we have picked Morehead State to cover the spread against Illinois. Illinois is on upset alert against Morehead State due to matchup nightmare and star Riley Minix and how effectively the Eagles slow down the pace.
Morehead State ranks #335 in adjusted tempo on KenPom, clashing with Illinois’ 56th-ranked adjusted tempo and preference to score in transition. The second leg of our March Madness parlay is for BYU to cover the spread against Duquesne.
We side with BYU because they were one of the best teams in the best conference in the country while Duquesne would not be in the tournament unless they won their conference tournament. Duquesne finished sixth in the Atlantic-10 Conference and got hot at the right time to make the big dance.
