Michael Phelps Honored to Learn He Is Caitlin Clark's Phone Screensaver

Iowa star Caitlin Clark showed off her "pretty tough" phone screensaver ahead of this Friday's Final Four matchup vs. UConn, and it included a photograph of another "G.O.A.T."—Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

The picture is of Phelps swimming, likely during one of his gold medal performances in one of the five Olympic Games he competed in. The screensaver seems to be a motivator for Clark during her historic season.

Well, Phelps saw the video shortly after the NCAA's official March Madness social media account posted it, and he shared a message to the college basketball superstar.

"Honored!!! This is so cool!" Phelps wrote.

Phelps understands what it's like to hold multiple records in a sport. The swimmer holds records for the most Olympic gold medals at 23, the most medals in individual events with 13 and the most medals at a single games from winning eight at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Just this season, Clark became the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer in points, Iowa's all-time women's leading scorer, the Big Ten's all-time women's leader in assists and points and the NCAA's Division I women's career scoring leader.
