Rays Closer Pete Fairbanks Had Priceless Answer About How Much He ‘Sucked’ in Loss to Angels

Life as a closer in Major League Baseball can be a tough one. If you don't do your job to the best of your ability you could end up losing a game for your team, which can't feel too good.

Tampa Bay's Pete Fairbanks experienced that Wednesday night when he blew his first game of the season and then later gave a priceless interview on how he felt about his performance.

Fairbanks came into the ninth with his team up 4-3. He then gave up two hits, two walks, and two runs, which allowed the Angels to escape on the road with a 5-4 victory.

This interview with Fairbanks after the game is an all-timer:

The best part might have been at the end when he said he'd give himself 16 more minutes to beat himself before getting over it. Life as a closer, man. You just have to shake those bad performances off and move on to the next.
