Two threes off bench win win Pettiford amassed nine points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 80-68 win over Vanderbilt.
Impact Pettiford hit multiple threes off the bench for the third straight game, yet another example of what makes this Tigers offense so dangerous. Other than that, he was mostly quiet, but the freshman is a clear special talent and considering he averages 11.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 44/40/84 shooting splits, he'll continue to be a critical piece of Auburn's rotation as the Tigers chase the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.

Inefficient night in lopsided win Pettiford notched 10 points (4-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 87-74 victory over LSU.
Impact Pettiford has shot the ball with decent efficiency in his freshman season, shooting above 40 percent both from the field and from deep. In the win over LSU on Wednesday night, however, he needed 12 shots to hit 10 points. Nonetheless, the guard has provided excellent depth for the Tigers and will continue to do so as Auburn pushes for the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.

Impact Pettiford is just about everything you can ask for in a bench player. The freshman averages 11.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals on 45/42/92 shooting splits. He's now scored in double figures in four straight games, and was a nuisance on defense with four steals. Pettiford is quietly a huge piece for the Tigers.

Impact Pettiford has yet to start a game for Auburn, but he's still averaging 11.3 points on a very efficient 44.9 percent from the field, including 42.6 percent from downtown. Pettiford has been an invaluable bench piece for the Tigers in his true freshman season.
