Impact Going into Monday, Henderson had scored in every one of Ohio State's College Football Playoff games this postseason. That was not the case in the national championship game, and he easily got his lowest yardage despite having a postseason high in carries. Still, Henderson will finish his collegiate career with a title in a 2024 season that saw him log over 1,000 rushing yards on a career-high 7.1 yards per carry.

Scampers for long TD in semis win Henderson notched six carries for 42 yards and caught one of two targets for 75 yards and a touchdown during Friday's 28-14 win over Texas.

Impact Henderson was efficient with his touches on the ground overall, averaging seven yards per tote. Still, he did the most damage on his lone reception of the night, taking it 75 yards to the house with less than a minute remaining in the first half to put the Buckeyes up 14-7 heading into the locker room. Henderson's seven total touches were five fewer than Quinshon Judkins received, and Judkins also found the end zone twice. The duo should share backfield looks again in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 20 against Notre Dame before they likely look toward the NFL ranks.

Scores twice in win over Oregon Henderson had eight carries for 94 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in 3 of 6 targets for 20 yards during Wednesday's 41-21 victory versus Oregon.

Impact Although Henderson received less than half of Quinshon Judkins' carries, he had a much more productive day. He scored a 66-yard touchdown in the second quarter which took the 31-0 lead, then scored the game-clinching touchdown in the third quarter with an eight-yard rush. Henderson now has four touchdowns through two playoff games and will look to keep that trend going versus Texas in the Semifinals.

Scores twice in win Henderson notched 10 carries for 80 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in all four targets for 54 yards during Saturday's 42-17 victory over Tennessee.

Impact Henderson logged 134 total yards and two scores as the Buckeyes cruised to a win over the Volunteers in the opening round of the CFB Playoffs. The 5-foot-10 senior has been very effective for OSU this season, totaling 116 carries for 831 yards and eight scores on the ground and 23 receptions for 189 yards through the air. Henderson will face a tougher front when the Buckeyes face off against Oregon this Wednesday in the second round of the CFB Playoffs.

Logs 46 yards in rivalry loss Henderson accrued 10 rushes for 21 yards and hauled in two of three targets for 25 yards during Saturday's 13-10 loss against Michigan.

Impact Henderson never got a chance to establish himself on the ground as the Buckeyes' offensive line once again struggled to get enough push upfront. Fellow running back Quinshon Judkins didn't find great success either with just 12 carries for 46 yards. Henderson somewhat salvaged his final stat line with his two receptions, but it's still a clear disappointment given the Buckeyes' commitment to playing a more physical brand of offense this season. This loss also knocks Ohio State out of competing in the Big Ten Championship Game this coming Saturday, though the team will still likely land in the College Football Playoff as a five through 12 seed. Henderson finishes the 2024 regular season with 108 carries for 751 yards and six touchdowns - all of which are the lowest marks of his career aside from his injury-hampered 2022 campaign when he played just eight games.

Impact Henderson scored just his second touchdown since Week 4 when he pushed his way into the end zone for a four-yard score in the second quarter. The senior running back was also much more effective despite logging fewer carries than the team's leading rusher Quinshon Judkins, who tallied 14 rushes for 36 yards Saturday. Henderson also could've had another touchdown with just under two minutes remaining, but he slid short of the goal line for a 39-yard rush, which set up a one-yard score for quarterback Will Howard. Over the last four games, Henderson has averaged 70.3 rushing yards and 21.8 receiving yards despite serving as more of the 1B rusher for the Buckeyes. He'll look to continue making an impact despite a relatively small workload during next week's regular-season finale against Michigan.

Impact Henderson tallied his usual share of carries while getting a couple looks in the passing game. However, the senior still seemed to play a slight secondary role behind 219-pound running back Quinshon Judkins, as the latter logged more carries (15) and got the ball on the goal line for two one-yard scores in the first half. Over seven Big Ten games, Henderson has now scored just one touchdown while averaging 65.0 rushing yards and 12.4 receiving yards per game. Henderson's lack of usage in the red zone significantly limits his ceiling, but he's still put up consistent stats for an RB2. He'll likely continue to play this role versus Indiana on Saturday.

Tallies 128 totals yards Week 11 Henderson had six carries for 85 yards and one touchdown and caught all three targets for 43 yards during Saturday's 45-0 win over Purdue.

Impact Henderson tore it up both on the ground and as a pass-catcher for the first time this season. The senior running back capitalized his performance with three carries for 51 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown, on a single drive in the third quarter. He still worked behind the team's 1A running back Quinshon Judkins, who logged 11 carries for 32 yards. Henderson likely would have gotten more carries if Ohio State wasn't essentially scoring at will, as he logged 11, 10, 10 and 10 carries in the previous three games. It's likely he won't need to do much during next week's road game at Northwestern either, but his explosiveness should give him a good chance to get back in the end zone either through the air or on the ground.

Impact Henderson logged exactly 10 rushing attempts for the third game in a row. The senior running back still operated behind junior Quinshon Judkins, who tallied 14 carries for 95 yards. However, both benefited from a surprisingly good performance for the Buckeyes' offensive line, which struggled mightily during the previous two games against Oregon and Nebraska. Henderson has now averaged 9.6 rushing attempts for 59.2 yards per game across five Big Ten contests this season. He'll hope to find the end zone this coming Saturday against Purdue.

Impact Henderson fell short of 60 rushing yards for the first time this season, as the Buckeyes failed to find any consistency on the ground against Nebraska's defensive front. With such a small workload game-to-game, it's unlikely that Henderson will fare much better against yet another stout rushing defense during next week's road game at Penn State.

Impact Henderson finished with a season-high in rushing yards thanks to his season-long 53-yard carry versus the Ducks. The senior has operated as the Buckeyes' secondary rusher behind junior and Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, who also notched a one-yard score after fumbling in the first quarter Saturday. Henderson has now averaged just 8.7 yards per carry per game, and, unlike in years past, he's been a total non-factor as a receiver out of the backfield. He'll hope to log just his fifth rushing touchdown of the season during this coming Saturday's contest versus Nebraska.
