Balanced effort in loss Clayton finished Tuesday's 88-83 loss to Georgia with 18 points (5-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 38 minutes.
Impact Clayton was his usual all-around self in the loss to Georgia, dishing out five assists while grabbing five rebounds in addition to his status quo 18 points. Still, it wasn't enough to prevent an upset loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Clayton's shooting efficiency certainly could've been better, but the stud point guard isn't the only one blame for this loss. He'll look to help the Gators bounce back on March 1 against Texas A&M.

Impact Clayton was surgical in scoring 18 points on nine shots while draining four threes. Impact Clayton contributed as a scorer, on the glass, as a facilitator - he was his usual, dynamic self in a comfortable victory over Mississippi State. It was the second straight outing he scored 19 points, pulled down six rebounds and hit four three-pointers. Clayton hasn't missed a beat since missing a game with an ankle injury.

Clayton averages 17.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists - this is a huge loss for Florida. His next chance to play will come on Feb. 8 against Auburn.

Impact Clayton suffered the left ankle injury in the Gators' loss to Tennessee on Saturday, and is now firmly questionable for Tuesday's tilt with the Commodores. "We avoided anything too serious, which is awesome, but, you know, definitely tweaked his ankle pretty good there in the first half," head coach Todd Golden reportedly said Monday. Clayton is partaking in practice but the extent to his participation is unknown. The Gators' star point guard averages 17.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals.
