Leads balanced attack Freemantle accumulated 15 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Saturday's 76-72 win over UConn. Impact Don't look now, but Xavier has won four of five games, including key, resume-building victories over Marquette and UConn. While four players were in double figures Saturday, Freemantle has been the primary spark in this run. Since missing three games in December with a lower-body injury, the senior center is averaging 15.9 ppg and 7.0 rpg across seven games in January. He leads the Musketeers in both scoring (16.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.4 rpg) on the year. Next up is another tough road matchup against Creighton on Wednesday.
