311 Favors Eagles, Bills, 49ers

The 311 is keen on the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers in Week 8 of the NFL.
The 311 consists of three NFL games that we select using the spread or money line, one game that is selected based on the total number of points for both teams going over or under and one player projected production for the game and if he exceeds or falls short of that number. This will give you action every week that is based on trends and matchups.
This is Week 8 of the NFL 2022-2023 season. The seventh week of action had the favorites covering five times and the dogs nine. The totals went seven Under and seven Over.
The teams with the best record against the spread are the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants at 6-1. The teams with the best record with the total going Under are the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 6-1. The teams with the best record with the total going Over are the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints at 5-2.
My record in last week 311 was 2-3. 311 record for the year is 16-18-1.
Eagles Soar Over Steelers
The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. The Eagles are favored by 10.5. The Steelers have lost four of their last five games. The Eagles are unbeaten and are coming in off a bye week.
The Eagles are ranked in the top 10 on defense in the NFL. This will create problems for Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett. Pickett threw three interceptions against the Miami Dolphins in a 16-10 loss on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles will get at least one interception against the Steelers. Take the Eagles minus the 10.5 points.
Prediction: Eagles -10.5 over Steelers (-110 at BetMGM)

Bills Continue Packers’ Misery
The Buffalo Bills are hosting the struggling Green Bay Packers. The Bills are favored by 11.5.
The Bills are in the Top 5 in wins against the spread. Bills are coming in off a bye week. The Packers are struggling and have lost three straight games.
Facing a Bills defense ranked in the top in sacks in the NFL will cause problems for Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Bills quarterback Josh Allen is having an MVP season so far. The Packers are ranked No. 1 in pass defense in the NFL.
While Green Bay will play better than they have during their losing streak, the Bills record at home over the past four years is 43-28. Bills have covered 52% of those games. Take the Bills money line.
Prediction: Bills ML over Packers (-600 at Caesars)

49ers Continue Dominance Over Rams
The San Francisco 49ers are on the road against the Los Angeles Rams. The Niners are favored by 1.5 points.
In the earlier meeting this season, the Niners won the game 24-9. That victory gave Niners Coach Kyle Shanahan a 7-0 record over Rams Coach Sean McVay during the last four seasons.
The addition of running back Christian McCaffrey will cause matchup problem for the Rams. The Niners win the game and cover the 1.5.
Prediction: 49ers -1.5 points over Rams (-109 at Unibet)

Points Plentiful with Raiders-Saints
The Las Vegas Raiders are on the road playing the New Orleans Saints. The total for the game is set at 49.5 points.
The Saints have lost three of their last four games and each game has gone Over the projected total. The Saints have scored 34, 30, and 32 points in their last three games.
The Raiders last three games have gone Over. The Raiders have scored 32, 29, and 38 points in their last three games.
This game should continue that high-scoring trend for both teams.
Prediction: Raiders-Saints Over 49.5 (-112 at BetRivers)

Mike Evans Piles Up Receiving Yards
Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans has been over 80 receiving yards in three of his last four games. He is averaging over nine targets per game during the Bucs four-game losing streak. The total for receiving yards in Thursday’s game for Evans is 68.5 yards.
Evans’ average yards per catch during the four games is 13.5 yards. The Baltimore Ravens are ranked 26th in the NFL against the pass. This matchup on a short work week favors Tom Brady and Evans.
The price is -110 on Bet365. Take Evans Over 68.5 receiving yards.
