70 Bids Received for Italian iGaming 75

ADM, the regulator of gaming in Italy has announced that it received 70 applications from gaming operators seeking operate an online gaming concession in the country or to extend existing concessions.

The applicants, who were obliged to pay a one-time fee of € 200,000, made a variety of bids. Some wanted to explore joint projects with other European union countries, such as France or Spain.

PokerStars seeks to extend an existing concession. Bwin Italy submitted three bids, one to manage an online poker site. Bids were also received from Virtual Marketing Services Italia Ltd. and the French i-gaming operator Winamax.
