Group Stage Preview

The Call of Duty Pro-Am Classic is a relatively short tournament, with the first round of matches starting Thursday, May 5 at 2 p.m. CST. It features some of the best players in the world, and it’s an excellent tournament for new esports players.

The first group stage of the Pro-Am Classic features four main groups, each consisting of one team from the Challengers and three teams from the Call of Duty league. Each team from the Challengers and the Call of Duty league plays another team from the group.

Tournament Overview

The teams from each group will play each other in the round-robin stage, and the top two teams from each division will advance to the single-elimination bracket. This will lead to the semi-finals and the ultimate final event for the Call of Duty League Pro-Am Classic, Saturday and Sunday, May 7-8. At the end of the tournament, the champion of the Pro-Am Classic will be crowned.

Key Teams to Watch

The Call of Duty Challengers League is below the Call of Duty League. Many of its players will eventually move to the CDL, but its teams are considered underdogs in this tournament.

If you’re planning on supporting a team already in the league, you’ll likely be able to understand the tournament’s structure since the Pro-Am Classic is a great tournament for novice esports bettors.

So far, the teams that might perform best in the tournament stage are popular teams from the Call of Duty League. Three teams in peak performance based on their record from previous tournaments are the Florida Mutineers, Atlanta FaZe, and OpTic Texas.

These CDL teams are favorites to win the tournament. Despite the strong performances of leading contenders, some surprising teams have also made it to the event. These are the Challengers, and they’re coming in with massive energy.

Although the Challengers might be able to pull off an upset, it’s important to note that they haven’t yet played at the peak level. While they bring in a lot of determination and grit, the veteran teams are still very capable of defeating Challenger teams in the tournament.
