FanDuel Strikes Deal with NJ Devils for Sports Betting, DFS

FanDuel, a daily fantasy sports company and sports bookmaker, has signed a deal with the National Hockey League and the New Jersey Devils team for sports betting and fantasy sports play.
The company is now a sports betting and official daily fantasy sports partner of the NHL, giving FanDuel access to the NHL’s real-time, verified game data feed, according to CDC Gaming Reports. As part of the deal, FanDuel will receive exposure during all regular-season Devils home games with an in-ice logo.
“We are continuing to be progressive in our approach to the sports betting landscape, working directly with the industry and focusing on innovative opportunities for fan engagement,” NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman told CDC Gaming Reports.
FanDuel also runs the sports book at the Meadowlands Racetrack in northern New Jersey.
The company that owns the Devils, the Newark, New Jersey arena where they play, the Prudential Center, and the National Basketball Association’s Philadelphia 76ers recently inked deals with bookmaker William Hill and Caesars Entertainment for sports lounges at the arena, along with marketing and promotional benefits.
William Hill also agreed to do promotional work and post odds at the home arena of the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
