PGA Tour Kicks Off ‘Know When to Lay Up’ Campaign

The PGA Tour has joined the American Gaming Association to support safe, responsible betting with its “Know When to Lay Up” campaign.
The PGA Tour has joined the American Gaming Association (AGA) to support safe, responsible betting with a new campaign called “Know When to Lay Up.”
It’s part of the AGA’s Have A Game Plan—Bet Responsibly public-service outreach.
As part of the new campaign, the PGA Tour encourages golf fans to “Know When to Lay Up” and bet responsibly. Its educational message will be shared on social and digital platforms along with public service announcements that will air on PGA Tour Radio.
“A key pillar of the PGA Tour’s sports betting strategy is responsible gaming,” said Scott Warfield, vice president of gaming at the PGA Tour. The campaign will “ensure our fans are equipped with the appropriate resources so they are properly prepared and educated,” said Warfield.
The Tour joins other sports leagues and organizations in the campaign. These partners include NASCAR, the National Hockey League, the Vegas Golden Knights and Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
