ResortsCasino.com unveils virtual sports betting in NJ
ResortsCasino.com has launched a lineup of virtual sports betting games for New Jersey players.
The games include Virtual Greyhounds, Virtual Horses, Virtual Cars, Virtual Motorcycles and Virtual Soccer, all from supplier Inspired Entertainment. The games are available for real-money and demo-mode play, says Davide Colosimo, Resorts’ Interactive Gaming Manager.
Simulated greyhound, horse, car and motorcycle races, as well as shorten versions of soccer games, are scheduled at regular intervals. With a 50-cent minimum bet, bettors can make a wager and then watch a live stream of the event—much like in live sports betting.
Resorts is also remodeling its on-site iGaming Lounge just off the main casino floor at Resorts Atlantic City, Colosimo says. The space will offer streaming of the virtual sports betting games and live sporting events. New additions also include a cashier booth where players can sign up, deposit, play and withdraw all in the same room. The updates are expected to be completed in early February.
The lounge already features touch-screen gaming tables, interactive lounge areas with tablets, a video wall and attendants to help newcomers get started playing online. sportsquare.com spoke to Ed Andrewes, CEO of EA Gaming Consultancy, who runs the Resorts iGaming Lounge, about the space last spring. ResortsCasino.com features more than 450 games, including online slots, video poker, table games, scratchers and FastPick daily fantasy sports.
