WSOP.com’s Coast to Coast Classic offers 32 events for NJ, Nevada players
Online poker player sharing is underway between New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware at WSOP.com and 888 Poker sites, and that means it’s time for a celebration.
WSOP.com in both New Jersey and Nevada—for the time being Delaware players can only play at 888 Poker sites—has announced a special Coast to Coast Classic of poker tournaments starting May 11 and running to May 20.
The geography is a little shaky, but players in both states can compete in 32 different tournament events with cumulatively more than $1 million in prize pool guarantees. The Main Event of the series carries a $200,000 prize pool guarantee.
Buy-ins range from as little as $20 to $1,000 for two high roller events. The Main Event on May 20 has a $500 buy-in.
Some other highlights are the $100,000 guaranteed Event 7 ($320 buy-in) and the two high roller events—the $85,000 guaranteed Event 14 and the $60,000 guaranteed Event 31, both with $1,000 buy ins.
This Coast to Coast tournament is separate from the four announced World Series of Poker online events to be held through WSOP starting May 29. New Jersey players will be able to participate in those tournaments.
So, as an added bonus, if you play in three Coast to Coast tournaments, WSOP will give you an entry into a freeroll that awards 20 seats into the first WSOP online event—WSOP Event 10: The $365 Online Bracelet on June 3. The freeroll will be held May 22.
