2025 NCAA Tournament projections: St. John's moves up to No. 2 seed
Is there a better story throughout all of college basketball than what Rick Pitino's St. John's team has accomplished in his second season?
Entering the final week of the season, the Red Storm sit at 26-4 overall and 17-2 in Big East play, having secured the program's first outright Big East title in 40 years.
Where will St. John's be seeded in this year's NCAA Tournament?
FOX Sports bracket forecaster Mike DeCourcy's is here to answer that and more with his latest NCAA Tournament projections.
Auburn, Duke, Alabama and Houston remain on the 1-line in DeCourcy's latest projections. Bruce Pearl's team remains red-hot, having won six in a row heading into a tough road matchup against Texas A&M on Tuesday night.
Tennessee, Florida and Michigan State remain on the 2-line, while St. John's jumped up to a No. 2 seed following a 71-61 win over Seton Hall this past weekend. The Johnnies close out the regular season against Marquette at Noon ET Saturday on FOX.
Iowa State, Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Kentucky land on the 3-line, while Michigan, Texas A&M, Purdue and Missouri are listed as No. 4 seeds in DeCourcy's latest projections.
As for the bubble, DeCourcy has Wake Forest, North Carolina, Xavier and Boise State as his first four teams out, with SMU, Texas, UC Irvine and Cincinnati listed as DeCourcy's next four teams out of the NCAA Tournament.
